I'm so far behind ... I haven't posted anything about the holidays so let's start with Halloween!
Karina wanted to be a cheerleader (a girl after my own heart) but I refused to buy one of those cheesy store bought cheerleading costumes and she's too small to fit into my old uniforms so we borrowed this USC Cheer outfit from her friend Eden and my friend Lupe gave us the megaphone and poms .... Doesn't she look like a natural!
When it came to Elijah, we wanted him to be Sully from Monsters Inc since he's our little monster but we couldn't find a small enough costume, maybe next year he'll be big enough to fit one. So what else is more fitting than a little monster ... Johnny Lawrence aka the punk white kid from the original Karate Kid! Everyone remembers Johnny wearing that skeleton costume at the Halloween dance and chasing poor, innocent Daniel Laruso and beating the crap out of him!
We went to a Halloween / Birthday party for one of the sweetest little girls in our family - Sophia. We had fun day playing at her party and once it was dark we took all the kids trick or treating in their neighborhood.
